Our second collection, entitled G.O.N.E. FOR GOOD, explored garment lifespan extension by utilizing up-cycled fabric, provided by non-profit organization Goodwill NYNJ, to create pieces using our G.O.N.E. or Garment Optimization Neutralizing Excess, process.
We began discussing the potential for a collaboration with the Goodwill team in December of 2016. After a series of meetings, we decided a full scale collaboration to be released on Earth Day, 2017.
The collection included individual, hand made couture garments with upcycled fabric sourced from the Goodwill HQ in Astoria, Queens.
This collection addressed United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
